Bhavana Brar is an engineer by trade and an operator by choice. For more than 20 years, she has built products, teams, and businesses in industries where precision matters most: electronics test and measurement, semiconductor test, software, and, most recently, applied AI for Aerospace & Defense.
She began her career building firmware and software that engineers rely on to test and validate demanding systems for the automotive and semiconductor industries. Knowing firsthand how products are designed, built, and supported has shaped every role since. Over time, her work shifted from building products to building the organizations behind them. She led global engineering teams across multiple sites, ran the operating rhythm of a large, multi-country R&D organization, and guided teams through major transformation.
In aerospace and defense, she moved closer to the customer and the bottom line. She led complex AI programs for defense and aerospace clients and turned first engagements into long-term partnerships. She also owned the business side: strategy, account growth, customer success, and profitability. One pattern runs through every chapter of her career. She understands the technology deeply, earns customers' trust, and builds teams that can scale without losing what made them strong.
That experience taught Bhavana that lasting companies are built on trusted teams and customer relationships. Through Rorion Capital, she partners with owners of established businesses to protect what they spent a lifetime building and lead it into its next chapter. She holds an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and an M.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Texas A&M.
When she’s not working, Bhavana is at home in Austin, Texas, with her husband, their two kids, and Luca, their Australian Shepherd and Rorion Capital’s Head of Operations. He herds everyone, everywhere, all day!
